Allotment

Actually it appears that this is maybe the first post about the allotment… – I think I need to go back over some posts and see if and what I have mentioned about it before. I am back dating this in the timeline of the blog so it fits better (but I am actually writing it end of May! Opps)

But to start…

It is very slow but I love it and it is shaping up just the way I want it 🙂 x I have had a few wobbles – not all but a vast majority grow veg and I am using it as a flower space. Initially it was just going to be beds of flowers for cutting and trialling for cutting but I am adapting slightly as I get to know my space – I have also had some health issues that have forced me to consider things.

This as you can see was here when I arrived – its actually in the wrong place for where I want it – but its the wrong time now to move it… so we will wait until winter and then I will move it to an area that I am planning to have as veg. I have some lovely recipes that I use for desserts.

If I were to rewind time I would have put down the plastic sheeting or weed membrane in Feb as it now resembles weed central and they are waist height. A BIG lesson for next year!
