PINK I love you The colour pink – just about every shade of PINK -I have recently read a blog post where someone suffering from Cancer was saying they now no longer really love the colour as it is the official Breast Cancer colour and they felt that the femininity of the colour and all we generally associate with this colour is nothing like Cancer and how it made her feel. Feeling Stacked Against
Sometimes you just feel like the odds are stacked against you – feeling a little like this tonight… Health a little bit wobbly… Weather – bloody dreadful – gales / storms / torrential rain and it just seems to keep going… I am super fortunate – my health issues are being sorted and not that scary… The weather will pass – so many people have lost so much – its difficult to comprehend how it must feel… But it is easy I think to sometimes ‘oh pull it together your life is cushy – you are lucky’ (I am not really a believer in luck like that – I think…

Mistletoe Garland
This isn’t plant related really – At the moment I am loving my crochet – I am not sure I have actually finished anything I maybe have finished one gorgeous elephant as a gift (2019) its Bridget the Elephant – Toft yarn and Pattern – since I started Crochet about 11 years or more ago… The rest is pretty much still a work in progress… But I am now starting a Mistletoe Garland… pattern Loop London – some berries I am also going to do some holly leaves and hopefully some snowflakes… Another pattern that I have tried for Mistletoe leaves and berries are from Happy Berry Crochet

End July
Well weather – more eye rolling – we have had a couple of weeks of intense heat – so yup you guessed it – frazzled plants as I just couldn’t keep on top of the sun and heat where my plants were. Full sun on the packet doesn’t mean full sun at 30 degrees for several weeks. Anyway this week looks a little cooler and I WILL – AM tidying a little to re-organise the garden and hopefully get some organisation into the total chaos – I usually check everything with “him in doors” just because I do really no other reason – anyway he was out! yup out out…
