Welcome May welcome welcome – like every month so far this year it seems like the world has exceedingly high hopes for you – I feel it is almost a little unfair to put such high expectations on a month… ummm

So April showers were supposed to bring May Flowers… except April was one of the driest on record… what is that going to hold – lots of watering or not too many flowers I’m not sure.

I have lots of thinkings going on in my brain at the moment – I appear to have taken the beginning of each new month this year almost with the same thought process as the beginning of a new year – I think I like it – I might make it a bigger thing and work on it – trying to help keep me focused and productive – just for the record focused and productive doesn’t have to mean I arrive at the end of the month with an array of products or tangible items. I think I would like it to mean that set goals or thoughts for things and think about them along the way – some I would like to keep and work on and others that I have thought about maybe trialled and didn’t work for me instead of feeling down and being weighted down almost like a ‘failure’ I can just let it go – either re-visit at a different time or just let it float off with no negative thoughts or feeling just release – it didn’t work for me and you know what that is ok.

I hope to have some tangibles as well – things that I have made, cakes – dinners – food dishes – clearly eaten not just sitting at the end of the month rotten.

Crafts – at the moment I’m putting a multitude of things under this heading… yarn – crochet / knitting I have so many WIP maybe choosing a different couple to work on each month would eventually mean I get through some of them and enjoy them for the making and choose the ones that feel like they will suit my mood for the month be this colours, yarn choice, ease or difficulty.

Gardening – this was going to go under crafting but I am going to give it a space of its own for the moment – this is going to be a jumble of words and thoughts as that is how it is in my head at the moment and it needs a kind of sorting out – it feels a bit like that cupboard where you stuff everything and jam the door shut and when you open it – it either all falls out or you wiggle your arm in and grab at what you want and then jam the door shut super quick – well i want to open the door – let what falls out fall and the rest yank out and have a re-shuffle – it will not be perfect but it will hopefully help unjumble some of it at least…
